Commerce Casino to reopen Friday June 19th...🤔
Commerce Casino is the world's largest poker room and they just announced they are going to reopen this Friday. Tournaments are off but cash games are offered 8-max with plexiglass.
It is my local casino but i don't know to be honest. Still way too many in too close proximity. But I admit i miss those stereotypical degens that call 3 people's all in with Q6 offsuit....and win! Been playing too decent poker online lately.
But there is no word what they gonna do with the super degens, the 1-800-Gambler type that "lives" in the casino and sleeps on empty tables etc.
Any LA people actually going this weekend?

Review of reopened Commerce Casino...and it's not good.
Duude totally unorganized. I went at 11am Friday 19th and left after 2 hours when none of my games opened (with 10+ ppl on waitlist) Came back at 8pm. Got a seat but getting chips....been ignored for 20 mins by floor, chiprunner etc. Then went to the cage by myself to get chips (10 min waitong in line) but you cannot do it. Only chiprunners can get you chips. You can only cash out chips but not buy them. I explained that i m waiting over 30 mins just for someone to pick up my money. She told me to contact management and waved security over (wtf! Unnecessary escalation). Anyways I go back to table. Finally someone picks up my money and goes to stay in line to get chips. Line is now around 150 yards long and only 2 windows are open so that is another 30 mins. Meanwhile i m involved in pots and 2 other players have the same money/chips issue where everyone owes other players chips now!
And it gets worse. At one point our table and a couple of other tables did not have cards!! Yes no cards. Instead of making dealer walk around with 5 or so decks of cards, nobody has cards now. Management is overwhelmed, tables are about to break. Floormen/women looking confused because no one has the key for the room with the cards in them 🤦♂️ it takes another 20 mins till we finally get cards and continue play 🤷♂️
Overall it is chaotic and they did not prepare at all for this. The least they could do is have more staff there and open more than 2 cash windows. Yes 2 windows for ALL poker games.
Ah yeah plexiglass and chair and table are wiped down when player leaves for break and disinfectant machines throughout the casino.
Ah yeah yeah made a good profit. Cashed out at my peak stack.

Commerce casino 5/10 vs 5/5, how much tougher is it?
Anyone a regular at commerce casino in LA and familiar with the skill gap between the two? I've played about 20 hours at 5/5 and find its about 25NL in terms of skill level (on ACR at least).
There doesn't seem to be any people who play pro though, when I do see the same faces it's usually older gentlemen who aren't great at the game. I believe I'm winning at a good clip, still going through Upswing poker lab and improving though.
Is there a big gap in skill and what bankroll is recommended for 5/10? Thanks.
